St. Thomas Express believes that no child should miss the opportunity to learn the JOY and technique of volleyball and/or active participation.  

We have a simple three-step process that is intended to allow everyone to participate while respecting individuals and maintaining a sustainable system of benevolence.

STEP 1 - APPLY FOR JUMP START

Jump Start has helped:  10 Express Athletes.

STEP 2 - APPLY FOR KIDSPORT

Kidsport has helped: 0 Express Athletes.

STEP 3 - APPLY TO THE "EXPRESS CARES FUND"

SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES

Starting in 2021, Express will offer post-secondary scholarships to deserving individuals who meet certain criteria.  Please read below to learn about what we offer, what the criteria are and see previous winners.

EXPRESS LEADERSHIP AWARD

Candidates for this annual award and bursary have shown leadership as a volunteer or coach.

Criteria:

• successfully graduating high school
• have committed two or more seasons as a volunteer, coach, and or red shirt leader
• has demonstrated leadership and exemplified Joy and Technique

How to apply:

1. Be nominated by an Express adult (non-board) supervisor
2. Submit an application on your own behalf

Deadline:  March 1 of each season.

Value:  ~$250 (At the discretion of the board).
